Allie the alligator was inspired by a kite festival in Miami, where the buildings are pink, and on the beach front, music rules.

Allie is another member of the menagerie who loves to rock'n'roll, and her song is "See You Later Alligator!"

Allie was honoured by Seminole Indian Chief Billie on Miami’s South Beach during a ceremony at the 1999 Miami Kite Festival. Allie's Seminole name is "Hal-pat-tee Cho-bee" (meaning Big Alligator). Chief Billie, a well know singer, also presented Anne with a Seminole jacket, then sang a song called "Hal-pat-tee Cho-bee!" in their honour.
